Whidbey Island Camp

July 29 – August 5, 2018
Whidbey Island (20 miles north of Seattle, WA, USA)

A call to young people. Our world faces many challenges. Your voice and energy are needed to help build a brighter future for everyone. You have important gifts to offer, and at Power of Hope Camp you’ll discover that you have more skill, talents, and spirit than you ever imagined.

You’ll get to explore your creativity with an amazing team of artists who can show you how to use the arts to unleash your power. You’ll learn from youth and adult activists who are dedicated to making a difference in the world. And best of all, you’ll make friends with like-minded youth from all different cultures and life situations, from around the Pacific Northwest and other parts of the US and Canada.

We invite you to join us, just as you are, and be willing to surprise yourself.

Register-todayPower of Hope Camp takes place at The Whidbey Insitute in Clinton, Washington on scenic Whidbey Island. That’s 20 miles and a short ferry ride north of Seattle. We inhabit a beautiful rustic campsite at the Legacy Forest adjacent to the main center of the Whidbey Institute. We sleep in tents and enjoy delicious food prepared by Sam, our camp chef. A nearby Puget Sound beach and a small lake provide the opportunity to swim on hot afternoons.
