Outdoor Activities at Camp

Power of Hope camps take place in beautiful natural settings in Washington and British Columbia.
All our sites offer a wealth of opportunities to explore and enjoy the outdoors. Learning about, and showing respect for, the environment is central to all of our summer camps.
At every camp there is at least one trained Environmental Educator on staff who teaches workshops such as: animal tracking, bird language, sustainable farming & building, plant identification, and more. All of our camp sites are in wooded settings where youth can go on supervised nature hikes to enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
Our camp sites also have beaches, rivers or lakes where teens can have fun in the water under the supervision of our staff lifeguards. At sites where its possible, we offer an optional full-day inner-tubing trip on the river as a fun and safe way to cool off under the summer sun.
