Heart of Facilitation
Once a year our program partner PYE Global offers the 5-month Heart of Facilitation course for facilitators, educators, teaching artists, and leaders of adult programs who want to take their work to a powerful new level.
Heart of Facilitation is an intensive 5-month training in facilitation, experiential learning techniques, communication techniques, program design, personal presentation, and self development. We accept 34 people into the training and have 4 trainers most of the weekends. There is plenty of time to work in small groups to practice what you've learned.
Heart of Facilitation meets one weekend a month for five months alternating between Portland, OR and Seattle, WA, to share the travel challenge between the two areas. The training includes all five weekends.
This intensive in-depth course in leadership development and facilitation is offered by the founders of three effective programs for youth and adults: PYE Global, the Power of Hope and Inside Out Development LLC. The success of these programs comes from their strong background in program development and facilitation, and an in-depth understanding of healthy youth and adult development.
Dates for the 2012 Heart of Facilitation Training are:
Nov. 9th-12th: Portland (Friday-Monday)
Dec: 14th-16th Seattle (Friday-Sunday)
Jan: 11th-13th: Portland (Friday-Sunday)
Feb: 8th-10th: Seattle (Friday-Sunday)
Mar: 15th-17th: Portland (Friday-Sunday)
Cost: $1,600
