Hip Hop Hope, Canada!

Hip Hop Hope in White Rock, British Columbia, was a big success! Youth from all over, from Victoria to Powell River and from all over the Lower Mainland, came together at Camp Alexandra to create music and learn together over five days. Incredible community leaders, artists, facilitators, and mentors also came together to support this growing and learning with the participants.

A big thanks to The Vancouver Foundation and its Youth Philanthropy Council for their support of Hip Hop Hope. A performance on April 25 at the YMCA's Power of Peace event will feature some of the culmination of the group's efforts, as will the much-anticipated Hip Hop Hope 2008 album! For info on this event:
